Getting Started with TimerMinder

A two-minute tour of everything the app can do.

1

Read the rings at a glance

Every running timer shows a digital readout inside contrasting rings. From the outside in, they’re
hours, minutes, and seconds — and they drain as time passes, so you never have to read
numbers to know roughly how long is left.

💡 Prefer a different look? Tap the slider iconTimer Style
to switch between Bezel Rings, an Analog Dial, or draining Pills.

2

Start your first timer

  1. On the Timers tab, pick Count Down (or Count Up)
  2. Spin the wheels to set the time
  3. Tap Start
  4. Use pause, reset, or close from the controls below the dial

3

Repeat a timer

Choose Repeat, set the length, and the number of cycles (up to 99). Pick
Auto-start next to run them back-to-back, or Tap to start next to control
each one. Watch the “3 of 6” counter to track your progress.

4

Focus with Pomodoro

On the Pomodoro tab, choose 1–5 sessions, name each task, and set work and relax
minutes. The screen flips between work and relax as you go.

🤫 Want your phone silenced automatically? In Shortcuts, add a Focus
automation: “When [your] Focus turns on → Start a Pomodoro.” Or just say “Hey Siri, start a Pomodoro.”

5

Save your favorites

Tap the bookmark icon on the Timers tab to save the current setup with a name — like
“Laundry · 1:14:00.” Run it later with one tap, swipe to delete, or use Edit to remove several at once.

6

Sync your cameras

The Camera Sync tab shows a big, high-contrast clock to the tenth of a second.
Photograph it with each camera body at the start of a shoot, then match your cards by timestamp afterward.
Tap the time to hide all controls for a clean frame, and choose a color scheme that reads well on your screen.

7

Time your darkroom

The Darkroom tab is a dedicated count-down with a sweeping hand and safelight-friendly
faces — black with an orange hand, a white face with a red-tipped hand, night-red, and night-vision green.
The screen stays awake while it runs.

8

Themes, alerts & accessibility

From the slider icon you can:

  • Switch the whole app between Light, Dark, Night (Red), and Night Vision
  • Turn on Color-Blind Safe ring colors
  • Keep the screen awake, and choose your Alert Tone

The first time you start a timer, allow notifications so TimerMinder can alert you even when the app is
in the background.

That’s it — you’re ready! ⏱️
